2026 Gold Coast Titans Predicted Round 1 Team
The Titans head into 2026 with a new coach and a bunch of roster changes that have left them with little depth if they get hit by injuries.
With Kieran Foran retired, it is likely that we will finally see the Titans next gen in the spine with Keano Kini at fullback, AJ Brimson at five-eighth and Jayden Campbell at halfback.
There has also been reports that new outside backs Max Feagai and Siale Faeamani look to have impressed in preseason and will get a spot alongside regulars Phillip Sami and Jojo Fifita.
An ACL injury to Jaimin Jolliffe further weakens an inexperienced forward pack for the Titans. Chris Randall has been confirmed to be training at lock, with Origin props Tino and Moeaki Fotuaika starting in the front row.
2025 Titans Rookie of the Year, Josh Patston is firming to get first shot in the back row, with Arama Hau and Adam Christensen reportedly fighting for the jersey as well.

As mentioned, depth will be a real issue for the Titans in 2026. Already, they are down a middle forward, having lost Jaimin Jolliffe for the season with an ACL injury in January.
One position they won’t have to worry about is fullback. Kini, Brimmo, Jayden Campbell and Jaylan De Groot all are very capable to cover the position.
The backline has had a shake up, with coach Josh Hannay looking to give new recruits Max Feagai and Siale Faeamani a start in Round 1.
They also have NRL experience in their depth with Jaylan De Groot, Tony Francis and Allan Fitzgibbon hunting for spots too.
The halves could see plenty of rotation throughout the season depending on results. AJ Brimson and Jayden Campbell are firming to be the starting #6 and #7. Lachlan Ilias has been signed to add depth, whilst Zane Harrison has been touted as “the next Johnathan Thurston”.
The forward pack is very light on. They do have international props Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Moeaki Fotuaika up front. Chris Randall has moved into the middle full-time, whilst Kurtis Morrin will also get some game-time after moving from the Bulldogs.
Beau Fermor earnt a Maroons debut following his form last season at left 2nd row. The right 2nd row spot will be up for grabs with Josh Patston, Arama Hau and Adam Christensen the three in the mix.
Josh Patston earned the Titans’ Rookie of the Year last season, and could be the lead to be rewarded with a start in 2026.
